I am SO excited to finally share this wedding with you all because Julie and Holly are seriously my favorite couple ever! I spent so much time getting to know them and their family at Stone talking about the wedding. We all might actually be considered regulars at this point [Sup Stone, diisscountt?].
Julie and Holly got married on March 19th at the Stone Brewery in Liberty Station. The brides have been together for 22 years, and have two incredibly sweet and wonderful kiddos named Andrew and Cameron. On the day of their wedding, Julie and Holly were really good about not spoiling their first look. They even did hair and makeup trails weeks beforehand and STILL did not spoil the surprise. The Brides and their closest friends and family got ready at the Court Yard Marriott in Liberty Station. After a few sips of champange, we made our way to the front of the hotel for the highly anticipated "First Look". Immediate family watched close by, and little tears of nervous happiness fell as the two brides anxiously waited to see the other. As Holly approached Julie, they both turned to smile at each other, then clenched one another tight. Julie and Holly were completely overjoyed to see each other looking like beautiful brides. It was so moving to watch their BIG LOVE firework off in front of my lens.
I headed to the Brewery to get shots of the decor before the ceremony. It was held in the Movie Theatre Courtyard near the back of the restaurant. The courtyard had huge white curtains blocking out the public, and was filled with succulents, and some lovely rustic looking decor. The Brides and their children waited anxiously to walk down the aisle. [I think they were a little nervous *wink face*] Holly's father walked her down the aisle, followed by Julie and her sister. They shared their own vows, which talked about their beautiful lives up to this moment and how lucky they felt to have such incredible friends and family supporting them. It was extremely touching and has us all in a sob fest, even from the staff! Shortly after, their BIG LOVE sparkled once more with a sensational newly wed kiss. Then the celebration began! Craft beer, smiles and live music filled to courtyard for the rest of the night. Everyone danced their butts off for Julie and Holly. Even after their sparkler exit, friends and family were not ready to leave the dance floor. It was truly an unforgettable day, with many photographs to look back on forever. I am simply over the moon happy for Julie and Holly. Congratulations to you both again! xo
