Pikes Place Market Engagement Session - Seattle, WA - Laryn & Justin

I can't be in one of the most amazing cities in the Pacific Northwest and NOT take photos of my cute friends who live there!! I know you're not supposed to work while on vacation, BUT I could not resist shooting at such an iconic location.

While exploring Seattle with one of my close friends, I set up an engagement session with Laryn, Justin and their miniature doodle Oliver! There was not much time for me to scout the area, so the shoot was a bit spontaneous. It honestly could not have worked out better, because it made the session feel more organic not knowing where we would go next. We wandered all around Pikes Place, stopping at any backdrop that caught our eye. I especially loved all the cool alley ways in this neighborhood.

It was so magical shooting an engagement session in front of the infamous Seattle Public Market. My jaw dropped when I looked at all the photos on my computer. Everything is so opposite of what I am used to in San Diego. All the gloomy weather made the photos feel so moody and rich in color.
