Sharing a moody San Clemente beach engagement session on the blog today! On a dreamy, gloomy day, Pnina & Sam cozied up all over Calafia Beach for their sweet and casual engagement photoshoot.
Lovers, Pnina & Sam come from wholesome beginnings, having known each other since high school. Sam proposed to Pnina at home in their PJs while watching their favorite movie About Time, which if you haven’t seen, you need it! Its a film about how the mundane and simple moments in life are just as, [if not more] important and special. Maybe the most romantic movie to propose to, if you ask me!
Being such low key people, P & S wanted engagement photos that felt natural and candid. Calafia Beach in San Clemente felt like the perfect place to capture their story. What I love about this location is how it offers the most gorgeous backdrops for a romantic and playful shoot - otherworldly wavy cliff sides, the oceanfront train, and blooming flower fields. The couple twirled along to their favorite songs throughout the entire shoot. It was perfect!
I look at these shots and see ease and affection, and as always, feel so lucky to be the one to have captured them.
