The Modern Honolulu - Honolulu, Hawaii - Engagement Session

This shoot will always one of my favorites! I was on vacation in Hawaii with a friend, and we were staying atThe Modern Honolulu . The vibe of this hotel was right up my alley. I loved all the midcentury modern decor, and tropical greenery. My friends Cristina and Spencer happened to be visiting the island the same time as us, so we planned a little photoshoot at my hotel. It worked out great because I was able to get some unique content for myself, and they were able to get some great photos of them hanging out in Hawaii. One of my favorite things about this shoot was Cristina's dress (from Forever 21 ). I loved how colorful it was, and the way the intricate floral detail really popped against the sand.We ended our session walking along the beach. Cristina really wanted to get a shot of her and Spencer in the ocean fully clothed, so we went for it! Those are probably some of my most favorite shots I have ever taken. Its those unplanned moments that are always so fun.
