A Romantic Eiffel Tower Engagement Session - Paris, France - Melissa & Senate

This Romantic Eiffel Tower Paris engagement session was [literally] the highlight of my career! Since the beginning of my wedding photography journey, I have dreamt of venturing to Paris to document couples. Name a more romantic place?! I have traveled to the city of lights in the past, and it's easily one of my most favorite spots in Europe. So many incredible artists have walked the streets, leaving their mark. To be able to walk those same streets with my camera was an indescribable feeling. I cannot begin to thank Melissa & Seante enough for flying me out there for their engagement shoot. With that said, here is part one of three taking you through this iconic Paris engagement session.

About The Couple

While on a european vacation, Melissa & Senate made Paris one of their stops. Senate had plans to propose but was waiting for the right moment. While exploring the city, they found themselves at the highest point in Paris at sunset, Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Senate dropped to his knee to propose and Melissa said excitedly YES! They spent the rest of the evening swept in romance, toasting to their love. Throughout their wedding planning process, the couple have said that it would be a dream come true to go back to Paris for their engagement session and relive those beautiful moments all over again . When they asked if I would be interested in flying out, I couldn't say YES fast enough! It was truly meant to be!

The Eiffel Tower at Sunrise

This romantic Paris engagement session felt so iconic, with back to back "pinch me" moments. We started at sunrise at the Eiffel Tower and went to various areas that I scouted out ahead of time. One of my favorite spots was a little cul-de-sac where the infamous tower was visible and prominent in the background, but Senate and Melissa were still the main focus. For this session, I brought my film camera to add in a bit of a vintage feel to their gallery. Paying homage to the long romantic history of the city. The Eiffel Tower, along with Melissa & Senate's love sparkled all day long. This is a memory I will hold close to my heart forever.
