A GOLDEN HOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT EL MATADOR STATE BEACH - MALIBU, CA - DEBBIE & KYLE

Debbie and Kyle are getting married in Mexico next year, so we wanted to choose a location that emulated the atmosphere of Cabo. We felt El Matador State beach was the perfect spot. The jagged, arching rocks were reminiscent of the famous arch in Cabo, and of course the ocean views.

We got so lucky with the most gorgeous sunset, with dreamy rays peaking in and out of the rocks and painting such a soft, romantic glow.  Yellow, floral fields gave us our next backdrop, which was a poetic, colorful contrast to the ocean and sand. Different landscapes neighboring and overlapping feels so story like, which I love in my images.

Debbie and Kyle’s photos turned out playful, golden and pastel, and brimming with love. I can't wait to shoot their big day at Baja Luna next year!
