Romantic Montage Hotel Proposal - Laguna Beach, CA - Carly & Dom

When your anniversary staycation turns into a lifelong adventure, I want to be there to photograph it! I usually enter the scene after the proposal, so to be a part of the engagement, where it all begins, is a huge honor and joy.

Carly thought that her and Dom were headed to the @montagelaguna  for a relaxing weekend to celebrate their dating anniversary. Little did she know, I was going to be hiding out on the beach like paparazzi waiting for Dom to propose. They climbed to the top of their "their rock" (are you kidding me?!), and he popped the question as the waves crashed and the sun set at their favorite scenic spot on Goff Island.

The scenes of Dom asking and Carly saying yes, on what looks like the top of the world, are so stunning and joyful. The cloudy blue-grey beach, birds flying, and greenery and red flowers decorating their rock gave us sweet and enchanting images.  

With barely anyone around, the beach became theirs. A simple, yet remarkable backdrop for this moment in their love story. Cheers to these two and their next chapter!
