A Romantic Garden Party Wedding at Rancho Las Lomas - Sarah & Nick

Sarah and Nick’s wedding was traditional and timeless. The venue was colorful and vibrant in a peaceful and unassuming way, surrounding the couple and the celebration with Spanish and Mediterranean style beauty, while leaving them as the focus of attention.

Sarah and Nick told me they were looking for more candid and in-the-moment shots, which happens to be my specialty and joy. So, we made sure there was a lot of movement, and kept it all natural and sweet.

The architecture, murals, and tiles made the Bride & Groom photos so romantic; Sarah’s dress, sexy and classy, accentuated against the surrounding nature with hues of emerald, jade, and pastel blue. Some of my favorite pictures are of the couple far away on the balcony in what looks like a tree house. They are simultaneously playful, amorous, and a touch editorial.

Honorable mentions for the silly and loving photos of the cake cutting - you can tell they have so much fun together - and the cowboy disco moment, with a sparkly hat dress-up party and shot taking. Oh, and of course the film photos that capture all the depth and story of this very special couple and their perfect day.
