A Chic, Modern Style Wedding at Hangar 21 - Los Angeles, CA - Courtney & Ryan

Courtney and Ryan’s wedding was a modern and industrial vibey dream! The whole story of this wedding and its photographs is simple yet extravagant.

Let’s start with the first look. Courtney and Ryan’s dress and suit were unbelievably chic, keeping it clean and classy in black and white, and pop of green in Courtney’s bouquet. You wouldn’t typically associate an airplane hangar with being elegant, but the photos of the couple exchanging their private vows before the ceremony truly were. And made for some unreal black and white shots. I also love how, though the backdrop and their attire were cool tones, you can still really feel the warmth of their love and happiness in these photos.

Moving throughout the hangar, the sun streamed in so gorgeously, and we got some incredible shots in between the shadows and light. Courtney and Ryan are so perfect in these angled, editorial shots.

This wedding had one of the most stunning, sparkly, and luscious golden hours I have ever photographed. The sunset blanketed the runway, the couple and black helicopter absolutely striking under the rose-gold blanket. These photos are where the couple really showed their playful, sweet, and romantic side, looking like they were running (or flying) off into the sunset together.

The reception was colorful and electric, everyone dancing on the shiny black dance floor waving their neon light sticks. The guests sent the couple off for the night in classic fashion, with a sparkler tunnel, and the addition of a cute white denim jacket on Courtney, embroidered with their last name. It was the perfect joyful ending to their day.
